Baptism

Baptism - Raised To Life!

“What are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized, and wash your sins away, calling on his name.” Acts 22:1

What an exciting time in your life!

Water baptism is such an important step in your walk with Jesus. It is the outward, public expression and declaration of who you are in Christ. This step of faith is pleasing to your Savior as He commanded His followers in Matthew 28:19 to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

As you prepare for this special day, seek God and ask Him to give you a deeper understanding of the importance of this act of Love for your Savior. We pray your Baptism will be a reminder of the sacrifice Jesus made on your behalf and cause you to live a life that is obedient and pleasing to Him. One day, you too will hear the same words from the Father that Jesus Himself heard, “And a voice from heaven said, This is my Son, whom I love; with him, I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:16-17

We look forward to meeting with you Sunday at 9:30 am in the prayer room before your baptism. During this time, you will receive instructions on the proceedings of the service. Please be prompt.

On the day of your Water Baptism, please bring the following items:

● Dark-colored (to ensure modesty) shirt and shorts to be baptized in.
● A towel to dry off.
● A hairdryer and other personal grooming items.
● Your friends and family! This is a time of celebration, so be sure to include those who are close to you. Your friends and family are encouraged to bring a camera to capture the moment.

Please call or email the church office if you have any further questions.

We are praying for you!
